Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process • accounts payable/receivable
• cash receipts
• general ledger
• payroll and utilities
• treasury, budgeting
• cash forecasting
• revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• capital assets reconciliations
• trust account statement reconciliations
• check runs
• fixed asset activity
• debt activity
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Provide recommendations • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Requirements and skills:

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Has a background in the Real Estate industry
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Ability to direct and supervise
• CPA Holder is a must

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, and in a shared services environment
• Advance in Microsoft EXCEL
• CPA licensed or will take the board exam

Responsibilities:

• Posting of Sales Invoice/ Check if tally with Operations
• Posting Cash Receipts
• Posting of Purchases
• Replenishment of PCF
• Check preparations
• Update posting of Books of Account in new Software (Smartbooks)
• Monitor all 2307 deducted from Collections
• Reconciliation of AP/AR Affiliates
• Billing

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Has a background in the Real Estate industry
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

• Oversee cost accounting processes for PFE assets, including acquisition, depreciation and disposal
• Manage CapEx projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence and accurate capitalization
• Oversee management of tangible assets, including property, furniture and equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including PFE-related financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
• Lead and develop cost accounting teams.
• Implement efficient cost accounting processes and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing/maintaining an effective cost accounting system to reduce cost and improve overall profitability
• Ensures that services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards
• Oversee the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits
• Prepares cost accounting, financial records and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a CPA Passer
• Has a relevant years of experience

• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Ensures that all tax returns are filed correctly, on time and in accordance with government regulations.
• Conducts periodic tax compliance review for the organization and its affiliates.
• Serves as overall resource person for all tax matters of the organization and its affiliates.
• Can interpret tax requirements, procedures and compliance; and can anticipate its implications and impact to the business
• Filing and cancellation of BIR permits
• Responsible for the filing of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns of: Withholding Taxes, Income Taxes and Final Taxes for all branches and subsidiaries

Job Qualification

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Tax Compliance Manager/Supervisor
• CPA Holder is a must
• Proven experience in handling Tax Compliance

Responsibility:

• Knows how to prepare yearly budget, cash flow, and will monitor cash collections vs cash deposit.
