To celebrate Buwan ng Wika this August, Lica Land employees proudly donned traditional Filipino attire in the workplace. Both men and women arrived in vibrant styles of the Barong Tagalog, Filipiniana, and Baro’t Saya, showcasing the rich diversity of our cultural heritage.
It was a fun and meaningful way to experience working in our national attire — a reminder to honor and take pride in our roots!

Lica Land employees to the rescue!
In partnership with Philippine Red Cross (PRC), Lica Land employees attended their training for Occupational First Aid and Basic Life Support – CPR with AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillator) last July 31, 2025 & August 1, 2025. The program spans 2 days and occurs once a year. Through the seminar, employees were equipped with skills in handling common workplace injuries. At the end of the course, they also earned a certificate that provides them PRC-qualification to administer first aid. The certificate is valid for 2 years.

Basic Excel Training
Excel skills are essential in today’s workplace. Whether it’s monitoring sales, managing inventory, creating budgets, or performing data analysis, knowing how to use key Excel functions can make the job faster and easier.
During the training held on July 17 and 18, 2025, participants learned useful formulas such as CONCATENATE(), VLOOKUP(), and DATEDIF(). To reinforce their learning, they took a short test at the end of the session — applying their new skills with confidence.
What’s gonna work? Teamwork!
Last May 17 & 24, 2025, 2 batches of Lica Land employees had a team-building activity at Noah’s Park Resort in Montalban, Rizal. In the morning, employees were broken into different groups. Each team had to finish a sequence of tasks and collect stickers for each of their BINGO cards. The team that accomplished its BINGO card first was the winner.
Everyone was so competitive! Each one enjoyed the tasks at hand and had a sumptuous lunch afterwards. They ended the day with lots of free time swimming and exploring the venue.

Lica Land Sportsfest ’25
On April 26, 2025, Lica Land employees came together for a day of friendly competition and active fun. Participants brought their A-game and showcased teamwork and energy in a variety of sports, including basketball, badminton, and classic Pinoy relay games like brisk walking, sipa, jump rope, and tumbang preso.
Winners proudly took home trophies, certificates, and cash prizes, making the event both memorable and rewarding!

In celebration of Women’s Month, Lica Land employees took part in a fun and energetic Zumba session held on March 22 and 29, 2025, at Kalye Zentrum Driveway, Lica Malls Shaw.
The event was a lively way to promote movement and wellness while empowering women in the workplace. We were thrilled to welcome not only our employees but also guests from outside the organization who joined in on the fun!
